Background
I am a mum of two young children and started my journey into the psyche quite late in life when I decided to complete my university degree at 36. At this point in my life I had experienced enough to know that this was something I really wanted and it was a joy, most of the time! From there I knew I wanted to help people because I had experienced anxiety and had found CBT so helpful. I wanted to be able to give people the tools to manage their problems head on so I then trained as a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist. During my training I saw how powerful CBT and hypnosis can be and I was so happy to see the positive changes it was bringing to people’s lives. I began to realise that many people are finding the world a difficult place today and I would like to tell you, you are not alone. Whether it’s anxiety, low mood, phobias or stress, we all feel the changes that are happening in the world and are figuring out how to make our way through. My previous career as a swimming teacher has given me particular insight into the fear of water, which is quite common in my experience. With this in mind I have designed a unique course for conquering the fear of water and learning to enjoy it. Whether this means being able to get your face wet or plunge into the ocean, we can tackle it all.
